Redeem this Movie!

Okay, that's kind of a weird title for a post. But I have to vent a bit - we saw one of the WORST movies ever on Saturday night, and now it's left me with the strong urge to see something else that will redeem movie-watching for me! The stinker: I Am Legend. YUCK! We thought we were sitting down to a cool thriller about the last guy on earth, but we were increasingly shocked and creeped out to learn that it was actually a rabid-zombie/vampire horror flick! Whatever you do, DON'T watch it. You'll think that somehow it is going to redeem itself with a good ending, but it DOESN'T. We had the creepy-crawlies for a good day or so afterwards. So, the purpose of this post is to find out what your favorite "feel-good" movie is, one that will make up for the ick factor of the one we watched last. Please post your fave movie in the comments section. Thanks! :)

My movie favs:

Return To Me : romantic comedy
The Count of Monte Cristo: drama

On that note, Brett went and saw that movie by himself and was relatively creeped out. From what I've heard, I would be scarred for life! Yuck-O!!!

So funny, we watched this last weekend. You totally hit it on the nose: don't watch it! And we thought the same thing, "Oh, it'll get better." Not so. My picks are Top Gun, The Bourne movies, Narnia...fun!

I still need emotional help after watching that really unnecessary movie! We thought it was going to be another Independence Day type of Will Smith movie! I covered my eyes most of the movie.... I can't believe I paid money to be traumatized! Well, at least my hubby & I can laugh at ourselves for our mistake and research a bit before going out on our dates.

Thank goodness you wrote this! It would have been on out "To Rent" list once it was out. Let's see, a feel good movie... Have you seen "No Reservations" yet? That was really cute. Here are a couple of the movies that we have seen lately, not all are feel-gooders or new releases, but they are for the most part nice and clean. :) The Left Behind movies, Rattitoulie (sp?) Dan in Real Life, Enchanted (Yes I made John watch this, hehe, hey we don't have TV - any clean movie is a 'go') Becoming Jane, Bourne Movies, hm... I can't think of any more, I'll get back to you on this!
