Happy 4th of July!
Hope you enjoyed your Independence Day celebration...Today we took Brett to the park with Grandpa (Grandma's in Minnesota visiting family). It's the same park I always visited as a kiddo, so it was very fun and nostalgic for me. Brett got to feed the ducks, and he tried some yummy home-grown cherries for the first time! We grown-ups enjoyed scrumptious cherry pie:

Side note: Brett's 6-month doctor appointment was yesterday. The stats:
Weight - 19.5 lbs. (grown over 12 pounds since birth)
Length - 27.25 in. (grown 8 inches since birth)
He is still recovering from the latest round of shots, poor guy. What a trooper!

I love all the pictures, sometimes one or two just won't do!! We did the parade thing and a fun little kid festival...followed by dad and Maddie napping:) See you guys soon!
