Saturday night was the season opener for our beloved Ducks! They absolutely smashed the Huskies, 44-10. Wheee! Daddy got to see the game with Grandma and Grandpa Boehme, courtesy of Aunt Robin and Uncle Roger (thanks guys!!). But since it was so late, Mommy and Brett stayed home and watched the big game on TV. It was actually Brett's second Duck game, since the first was our bowl game on New Year's Eve, viewed from our hospital room just hours after he was born! Yes, he's quite a little duckling, born on the day of an Oregon bowl game. :)
Anyway, the little quacker did awesome watching the game, even late. He stayed up through halftime, snacking on Cheerios and playing with his very own squeaky football. Every time we scored, we played the fight song on our Duck toy.
Gee, this kid doesn't even have a chance! I think he already bleeds green and yellow, heehee...
Yaaay, Go Ducks!
Watching with intensity (and wearing Daddy's duck beanie, so cute)
